In a nutshell, I'm a law graduate who became a dotcommer. I worked as a web designer and journalist for a maverick Singapore newspaper. Then I joined a web branding consultancy as the sole designer for Volkswagen Asia. I also designed the regional intranet for Audi dealers. During that period I learnt about web standards and accessibility. I had great fun at SXSW 2006 and intend to make it an annual pilgrimage [Update: Also went to SXSW 2007]! I am currently working for a government organisation, planning and managing new media projects and helping the public to live a healthier life. In my leisure time, I play keyboards in a new fusion jazz band called the Moon Jumpers. My main blog is actually at http://vantan.org/, running on Movable Type.
