I sent an email to Asia Works, a corporate film company, to seek job and internship opportunities. When they did not reply, I emailed them again. They finally responded:
Dear Vicki: I am sorry but neither myself or my colleagues spotted your earlier email. We do have pretty aggressive spam filtering on our email sever so it may be that it got filtered out. I am not saying that your CV deserved to be bulked-in with pirated software & the Viagra ads but that would appear to be what has happened.
If you re-send it to me personally I will ensure the right folk in our office get to see it.
Basically, I am seeking job and internship opportunities in the area of filmmaking. If you need a filmmaker, let me know.
